i use IE and have ever since i've owned a computer. i used firefox, but i was slower than IE so i stopped using it. whats ur opnion

Firefox. It makes life easier is always ahead of IE (I mean just look at how long it took them to get tabs ). There are tons of addons that make life easier. Like adblock plus the search thing in the upper right where you can add as many differn't sites you want. It checks for new emails for my gmail for me. I find it faster too. It tells me the weather I don't know it just does everything I want really nice and fast.

Slower than IE? Hell no. Firefox is actually a heck of a lot faster than IE.

IE is more than 5 years behind modern browsers....

If you find Firefox too heavy, you should try other geckos browsers, like KMeleon, K-Ninja or SeaMonkey.

Yes, but IE is still leading in the amount of people using it (66% I think I can remember it correctly). But both FF and IE are the best.

The only reason IE is used by so many people is because they don't know much about a computers and have never took the time to see the advantages of other browsers. Pretty much everything lol.

i think there were a A lawsuit against Microsoft 4 or 5 years ago by Netscape because Netscape said that Microsoft trying to "Monopoly" takeover all the internet explorers market by installing the IE in the windows by default , the suit caused Microsoft a millions of dollars as Compensation

Firefox all the way. i dont like IE because it is slow loading some pages. Plus Firefox;s devs are always keeping firefox up-to-date.

I have tried several browser as: IE, firefox mozilla, also others like opera.
For easy operational and simple use, I choice mozilla firefox, (many support and add on support )

Slower then IE? thats because IE always loads in the background when you open your PC, open task manager, click processes tab search IEXPLORER.EXE when IE is closed.
I hate IE so much, It doesn't follow web standards and makes designing a lot harder. I found out that IE can't handle PNG's so I tried and it's true I replaced gradient PNG's they looked like hell. so I hope Safari and Firefox Kill IE!!!

I've been using FireFox since the release of it, and only Firefox, unless I had to use Opera or IE(UGH!) for other reasons.

Indeed Firefox is something that will be hard for any browser to truly beat after people start using it. I mean all the addons just allow you to make useful for pretty much all your internet needs. The only thing it doesn't do is have an addon to make site's like a dreamweaver addon or something .

LOL, this topic again....i'm using Firefox atm its awesome. i think you should use Firefox because it never freezes, You can download plug ins Etc. IE7 is good but i don't like it. Why? its kinda annoying because it keeps on freezing and some websites wont load!!!!. so i would say Firefox

i used to use IE but i switched to firefox because their popup blocker is way better than google's ie popup blocker. and you can install addons. but ie7 i think lets u install addons now, but they still dont have a good popup blocker...
