as you can see when you Visit the site it says Index page. HOW CAN I CHANGE the index page to a real Forum.
i have uploaded my style for the website. Please Help me!!!

So you have uploaded a theme for phpBB correct?

To do this you first need to install the phpBB forum system, you can either install it manually by following the instructions on http://www.phpbb.com (You want phpBB version 2.0.22) or automatically by using Fantastico in cPanel (this comes when you upgrade to the WebMaster Plan which is at 35 posts).

i have uploaded the theme correctly heres the file i attached. you can check it if you want its a warcraft theme. and wat does Fantastico do? do i need it atm?

It just makes the process easier, it will automatically install phpBB so that you don't have to download files and upload them, it does it all for you.

so do you mean for my theme atm (not working...) if i use Fantastico it will automatically do it for me?

Well apart from manually installing your theme (by using the instructions provided with your theme)

Fantastico is just a system that helps make installing web applications and systems into your server and website easily. So for example, instead of manually installing the files and adding all the correct info and details, etc, and downloading the files; with Fantastico, you can choose for instance, phpBB and just enter a little bit of info and it automatically installs of the files, folders and coding into your site for you.

As for the theme, you need to do that yourself. Fantastico only installs the system not the theme.

phpBB Styles need to be uploaded to the /templates directory in phpBB2 and in phpBB3 upload to /styles
You should be able to login to the admin panel and go to themes and click install and phpBB will do it all for you.

As far as site themes go... I've posted one here which juice used, in the CSS Forum and there are many other sites out there which offer templates.

Well it seems he is using SMF now. It also has style running but the one image at the top isn't working right. So either someone helped him or he figured it out.

Ah... SMF templates are the easiest ones to install as you just select a ZIP file on your own PC and click upload

wooo,i got it working. thanks for your help guys. . 1 more thing i need help on...You know at the bottom of my website theres Powered by....then the css picture, MY sql annd w3c pictures ETC...how do i edit that so i can put the mainvista logo on it... Please Help me
